Who we are:

Our team is a diverse group fun-loving women from the North and South Simcoe  (including Barrie, Innisfil, Coldwater, Orillia and Muskoka areas).

What we do:

At each practice, we challenge ourselves with  a total body workout, and then we put on our roller skates to build our skills for Flat Track Roller Derby.   We follow the rules laid out by The Women’s Flat Track Derby Association (WFTDA).  Find out more about the exciting game of Roller Derby here:https://wftda.com/the-game/

Modern Flat Track Roller Derby is very different from the Roller derby of the past.  Although we still use quad skates, we now play on a flat surface rather than a banked track, and the rules of the game have evolved.  This fast-paced, full-contact sport not only offers a unique physical challenge but demands focus, clear communication, and strategy.

If you’re looking to push yourself outside of your comfort zone to improve your fitness level and to connect with an incredible group of women, consider joining us in our next Fresh Meat Session!

When and where it all happens:

  • From May – August, we practice on Thursdays  7-9pm at the Coldwater Arena
  • From September – April, we practice every Sunday evening (and alternate Tuesdays) at The Roller Skating Place
